Where are my journal entries stored?
Your entries and preferences are stored locally on your device in DailySpark's app data. They are not synchronized to a Ceytro cloud account.
How do I back up my journal?
Open DailySpark settings and use Export to create a JSON backup. Keep the file in a safe location. Use Import when you want to restore a compatible backup.
Why am I not receiving reminders?
Check that notifications are enabled for DailySpark in Android settings. Battery optimization and exact alarm restrictions may also affect scheduled reminders on some devices.
Why can I not add a photo?
DailySpark needs camera permission to take a new photo and photo or media permission to select one from your device. Enable the relevant permission in Android settings.
How do I protect my journal?
Use DailySpark's local access controls and keep your Android screen lock enabled. Do not share exported backup files with people you do not trust.
Why do I see advertisements?
DailySpark is supported by advertising. Ads are delivered through Google Mobile Ads. Availability and personalization can vary based on device, region and consent settings.
What should I do before reinstalling the app?
Export a backup first. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may remove locally stored journal data.
